Through our design we cater to the world's genuine fashion connoisseurs. Those belonging to an exclusive minority class, who dance to their own beat and chuckle at Hollywood's manufactured images.
THE HOUSE
The house of Vim Trousseau was established in 2006 just blocks away from the Fashion District, in Downtown Los Angeles' eclectic Historic Core. During a time when, the now world famous, [Downtown LA] Artwalk was being established, local virtuosos congregated at the underground speakeasy and the streets were peppered with boisterous transients. Although the neighborhood was not yet en vogue, according to the majority tastes, it helped cultivate The House's independent spirit. All of this gave way to a truly unique heritage.
A heritage which views ones attire as a work of art, not only tailored to the suitors frame, but tailored to their personality as well. Every garment in each of our collections may be crafted to desired specifications; whether that be a change in fabrication, color or trim - allowing the connoisseur to play an integral role in the design process. The results! A quality garment to be enjoyed season after season.
Our passion for individual expression, as well as fondness of the 'old fashioned' fashion glossy has lead us down a novel path. Late 2009 saw the introduction of The Glossy Queen, a line of one-of-a-kind handbags. Adorned with a whimsical set of [removable] jewels, each handbag showcases the brilliant medium of print, all the while
preserving this fading art form.
Currently, TGQ consists of three permanent collections:
The Fashion Connoisseurs Collection: Is all about showing off your sartorial savvy.
The Make A Statement Collection: Features bold manifestos to voice your opinion and identity, however crass it may seem to the rest of the world.
The Icons Collection: Lets you wrap your arms around the legends of yesterday, today & the future.
Of course we maintain an all inclusive point of view, meaning a handbag according to your specifications is always available. Just let us know what it is you love and we shall oblige.
